During a project, we met a challenge on how to rectified and modified a 150kV power transmission line tower without foot tower relocation and without power outage.
The existing tower foundation is not correctly design and construct. Based on our soil investigation, the new pad should be 5.6 by 5.6 m with 0.9 m height.
Below is how we rectified and modified existing tower to meet the required specification. We strengthen the tower body with by adding new additional stubs and modify the foundation.
